Clogs
“When trying to describe Clogs’ music to other folks, it might be better to forgo any genre distinctions and head straight for the thesaurus so you can find fresh and exciting ways to say ‘sublime.’” —Pitchfork

“[There is] no question that the classical and indie realms can share a border where music turns pensive, knotty, and otherworldly.” —New York Times

“By turns wistful and playful, the album is one of the most evocative and appealing records of the year, in any genre.” —NPR Music

“Representing both consolidation and evolution, The Creatures in the Garden of Lady Walton is Clogs’ most expansive work to date. With an ever-broadening reach, this intrepid quartet continues to make some of the most hauntingly beautiful and spiritually profound chamber music of the last decade.” —All About Jazz
Eagle Rock Gospel Singers - (Set time: 7:00 PM)
The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers began as a collective of friends getting together to sing sacred songs of worship from the early 20th century in the summer of 2010. A choir of up to 13 revived the spirit of those believers who came before them with songs like "I Shall Not Be Moved", "12 Gates", and "In My Time of Dying". The group eventually evolved into a band of 9 musicians, committed to keeping the spirit of gospel music alive first through covers and currently with original songs in the mix. They can currently be seen playing at a number of local Los Angeles venues such as The Satellite, Lot 1 Cafe, The Echo and The Bootleg Theatre.

Influenced by both past gospel musicians such as The Dixie Hummingbirds, The Pilgrim Travelers and Sister Rosetta Tharpe as well as current bands like The Black Keys, Wilco, and Calexico, the Eagle Rock Gospel Singers are creating a unique blend of blues, indie rock, folk, and bluegrass in their songs. Some of the band's favorite things include banjos, kickdrums, hand clappin', foot stompin', and sing-alongs.
