I used to live in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee / now I live in Los Angeles

I didn't go to high school / instead I built forts

I will always make music
The Peach Kings - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
The Peach Kings
Wandering royalties, Paige Wood and Steven Trezevant, crossed paths early in the year MMX. San Francisco held the rendezvous and harbored the early stages of the Peach diocracy as the Two quickly stormed the boundaries of genres. From the tatters of this crusade arose a hybrid class of music: Gypsydelic. Organic in texture and taste, The Peach Kings draw their sound and inspiration from the smoky smooth crackle of blues, folk, and soul vinyls as well as the hypodermic tones synthesized in various beat laboratories across the globe.

Stripped down, The Peach Kings power is derived from Paige Wood's hauntingly sensual vocals combined with Steven Trezevant's raw guitar majesty. Anything else is just jam on the pancakes; an edible blues concoction.
Max and The Moon - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Max and The Moon
Emerging out of the combustive indie music scene of southern California in 2009, Max and the Moon and their relentless gig-playing have created a buzz that rides on its own frequency. The three-piece band, on the verge of officially releasing their second EP titled "The Way I See," display a talent for intricate songwriting and sounds ranging in resemblance to early Coldplay and the dancy catchiness of Passion Pit. Substance magazine writes, "their music has a way of pulling you in with their starry guitar echoing in combination with John’s soothing vocals and superb upper register."

On their first release, a self-titled EP (2010), Max and the Moon laid the foreground with a straight-up indie album. Laden with strong guitar licks, steady piano and punctuated vocal harmonies—the band makes full use of two primary vocalists—the EP affirmed the band as a group to pay attention to. Max and the Moon's follow-up, "The Way I See," shows the band's maturation into stronger songwriting and experimentation with new sounds, expanding their scope and offering a significant contribution to the ever-changing music scene in the wake of fellow Los Angeles-based band Local Natives.

Guitarist John Velasquez earned a degree in music at Cal State University, Fullerton, and began collaborating with longtime friends Matt and Dillon Couchois in the two brothers' small garage studio. The three-piece has come a long way in the few short years since their formation, challenging themselves everyday with booking shows or heading back to the drawing board on a new song that doesn't quite capture the right vision. In the present age of endless hype around new music, Max and the Moon stay true to passionately personal songwriting. That isn't to say these guys are low-key, though; the band revels in putting on energetic rock shows.
Diamonds Under Fire - (Set time: 12:00 AM)
Diamonds Under Fire
Diamonds Under Fire began as the solo musical project & heart of singer/songwriter Vanessa Silberman (vocals/guitar). In 2012 with the addition & collaboration of Jessica Goodwin (drums) & Melinda Parks (bass/vocals) Diamonds Under Fire was re-born & completed.

Diamonds Under Fire's 3 piece power house live show & music has often been compared to the raw bare bones rock 'n roll of Nirvana, The Ramones, Chrissie Hynde with the danciness of No Doubt & the pop sensibilities of Pink.

With strong DYI ethics, Diamonds Under Fire has self released numerous Demos & EPs as well as toured the US over 9 times, playing Canada, the UK, SXSW, & The Sunset Strip Music Festival. Locally in Los Angeles Diamonds Under Fire has played The El Rey, The Troubadour, The Satellite, The Echo, The Viper Room, & Bootleg Theatre. Diamonds Under Fire has been featured in Guitar Player Magazine with a cover call-out & has been featured on 4 Vans Off The Wall Compilations CDs.

Diamonds Under Fire self released it’s debut record in the spring of 2011 produced by Vanessa Silberman & tracked at Paul Green's Studio House (School Of Rock creator) in New York & supported electronic/rock duo Uh Huh Her on their North American tour.

Most recently Diamonds Under Fire released the new single ‘Sunshine’. The song was recorded & mixed by John ‘Lou’ Lousteau at the Foo Fighters Studio 606 & mixed on the Neve Board ‘Nirvana, Nevermind’ & ‘Tom Petty, Damn The Torpedos’ was recorded on.

Diamonds Under Fire is currently writing new music.
