"Kitten is the kind of band that when you're hearing them everywhere in a few months, you'll remember fondly the first time you listened to them. If you haven't already, make that first time sooner rather than later–though the vocals of 16-year-old Chloe Chaidez are enough to keep pretty much anyone in the immediate area transfixed, the entire band seems to be composed of prodigies. And though they're young, they've been paying their dues and learning their craft for years. They've garnered comparisons to The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blondie and Cat Power, but Kitten is well on their way to being the band all the new kids are trying to sound like." --Cliche Mag
AB & the Sea - (Set time: 11:30 PM)

AB & the Sea founders Joe Spargur and Koley O’Brien started out in the sun-kissed lakeside community of Winneconne, Wisconsin. The extent to which Lake Winneconne influenced their songwriting is difficult to estimate, but by the time Spargur and O’Brien drove their van to California two years ago, their optimistic brew of major key harmonies and hand claps had become pure California AM gold. Chris Chu of the Morning Benders helped produce their debut album, Boys and Girls, at SF’s Different Fur Studios.

Sky Ferreira - (Set time: 8:30 PM)
Sky Ferreira. Act like you don’t already follow her on Twitter – as if you haven’t Googled her, or checked her out on Wikipedia. Now check again. Before you can hit refresh, there might be another paragraph. She's co-written and recorded with half the Billboard chart, survived in Hollywood and on the Lower East Side, seen the world from thirty-five thousand feet, been shot by every photographer you can name off the top of your head.
Now get one thing straight: Sky was singing first. Just click on her piano-and- vocal only cover of Miike Snow’s 'Animal' on YouTube for your evidence that her other skills might pay the bills, but music is her life and her voice is bona fide. Her 2011 debut EP As If! hinted at her soulful range and stylistic versatility. But if you think it prepared you for the step Sky’s about to take on her first long-player, think again. She’s hard at work with a hand-picked team of collaborators. And this time she’s in charge, making the record she wanted to make all along.

Spaceships - (Set time: 9:30 PM)

"No matter one’s age, their fuzzed-out tunes have no place in the life of a real “grown-up.” Perhaps it’s because Jessie Waite and Kevin LaRose sing their melodies with a hint of twee. Perhaps it’s because the songs from their self-titled EP could perfectly be the soundtrack for one of those movie scenes where a bunch of teenagers throw a wild party while the parents are out of town. Whatever the source of exuberance may be, Spaceships and their reverb-drenched vocals, chugging electric guitar and solid percussion do the job if you ever need help reverting to a young punk again." - Buzzbands
