The quartet, Alt-J, first entered our consciousness with their debut release of 'Bloodflood' / 'Tessellate' in October 2011. Released on 7" via Loud & Quiet, it sparked a wave of interest in their brilliantly unique and compelling sound. Radio support came through almost instantly from Radio 1's Huw Stephens, Zane Lowe and Nick Grimshaw while the BBC Introducing team didn't hesitate to get them booked in for a live session, which was broadcast on both Huw Stephens' and Steve Lamaq's shows. More recently they were selected to perform as part of Radio 1's Festive Festival to showcase new, exciting acts for 2012 alongside Emeli Sande, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosuars, Jakwob, Dot Rotten and others. Previous artists to be given the same accolade have included Katy B, The Vaccines, Wretch 32, Plan B, Mumford & Sons, The xx, Florence & The Machine and Chase & Status
Wildcat! Wildcat! - (Set time: 10:00 PM)

"Wildcat! Wildcat! has their name wrong. It should be Wildfire! Wildfire!, because that's how quickly the Los Angeles trio's first two singles have spread across the Internet. The pop concoctions of Jesse Taylor, Michael Wilson and Jesse Carmichael fall squarely onto the plate of today's now-fashionable indie R&B — lush melodies, falsetto vocals, arching harmonies, all done produced with admirable restraint. There's nothing minimalist about the emotional uplift of their two singles, though." –-BuzzBands.LA
Cayucas - (Set time: 9:00 PM)

No one knows summer like Santa Monica’s Zach Yudin, a man of leisure who recognizes “the epic” in something as simple as a twilight bicycle ride or a short drive up the coast. As Cayucas, Yudin has set about creating an impressionistic portrait of summer’s long, bittersweet dazzle.
An avid bird-watcher, Yudin majored in both Music Theory/Production and Japanese. He spent a post-grad year living and teaching in Tokyo, then taking the past couple of years to hone the sound of Cayucas. He posted a couple of songs online, picking up a lot of love and attention, but it was only when he entered the studio with producer/multi-instrumentalist Richard Swift last year that Cayucas was truly defined — sun-inspired jams that touch upon The Animals, Harry Belafonte and the surfer-folk mysticism of the Northwest.
