Mystery Skulls - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
Mystery Skulls
Mystery Skulls is really the nom de plume of Los Angeles based electronic artist Luis Dubuc. Formerly from Dallas, Texas, Dubuc sounds like Prince fronting Daft Punk, mixing his inspirations of '90's R&B and New Jack Swing with EDM music and futuristic sounds. Beyond Mystery Skulls, Dubuc is an active songwriter, producer and remixer, working with a wide range of genres and styles.
Matthewdavid - (Set time: 8:30 PM)
Matthewdavid
LA producer/DJ making minimal, dreamy beats.
Tapioca and The Flea - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
Tapioca and The Flea
Los Angeles band, Tapioca and the Flea bring a fresh combination of video game synths, psychedelic guitars, pulsating bass lines, and heavy rhythms that’ll make you want to dance until your legs fall off. Recently released their first single called "Mellotron" which you can stream on their soundcloud. Stay tuned for the release of their first EP with producer Lars Stalfors (Mars Volta, Cold War Kids) early 2013.
Seasons - (Set time: 11:30 PM)
Seasons
Highland Park's Seasons really pile on the shimmering keyboards, fuzz-heavy guitars, saturated synths, loads of effects pedals and an occasional beating laptop, strings, and horns riffing in the background. Their sound is full and showy, building up to great heights then lilting low into soft, cuddly breakdowns.
