Known for their sexually-charged and sweaty live shows, these Trans-Atlantic Francophiles make a rare L.A. appearance this Valentine’s Day for a tribute to St. Valentin.
Expect dancing, drinking, and a lot of French kissing.
The band’s music has been featured on HBOs Girls, Gossip Girl (R.I.P.), and a Slovenian mobile phone commercial.
Nous Non Plus just released their fourth studio album, Le Sexe et le Politique, available wherever music tends to be available.

J.R. Black - (Set time: 10:00 PM)

J.R. Black sings classic Johnny Cash and other country favorites in French. Fronted by founding Miss Derringer member Sylvain de Muizon, J.R. also likes to close out sets with a few Cash classics in English. Muizon grew up in France before moving to the United States where he learned his love for classic country, punk and rock-n-roll. Rounding out the group are Miss Derringer songwriter/guitarist Morgan Slade and up-an-coming lead guitar slinger Mike Plata (the Spoofs).
Paris Loves LA - (Set time: 9:00 PM)

Scandal! Glamour! Sex! The French Pop Culture of 1960’s Paris swings back into life with Paris Loves L.A., Los Angeles’s sensational new revival of the songs of Serge Gainsbourg and Bridgette Bardot. Adele Jacques, French-born singer and actress, plays and sings Bardot with such skill and feminine guile, one finds oneself looking back over their shoulder during the performance, expecting to find Godard shooting in 16m. Together with the pianist, Russell Rinker, and a live, jazz-ensemble of L.A. ’s best session players, Paris Loves L.A. is a paroxysm of French Sexiness and Cocktail Cool. No cigarette required.
