The Dirty Ghosts are pale and unwashed, yet they are fresh. Though based on solid ideas, the band is always attempting to get new with their style!!!!
"Allyson Baker spearheads Dirty Ghosts, a delightful blend of inventive rock and white person funk, with beats supplied by husband Aesop Rock and bass provided by gross jewellery enthusiast Carson Binks. They just debuted the video for awesome tune Shout it In on AR’s 900 Bats website. The video (directed by 900 Bats developers Justin Metros and Alex Tarrant) is an excellent showcase of Baker’s immaculately straightened hair and Bink’s impossible to deal with leather wristbands." - Heeb Mag

Bare Wires - (Set time: 10:00 PM)

"Bare Wires is a knowing and joyous throwback to early 1970s rock. Oakland garage bruisers throw a toaster in the bathtub." --Austin Chronicle
"A power trio that looks like it stepped out of a time warp from the 1970s, Bare Wires is rapidly perfecting its crisp, no-bull garage punk, reminiscent of the Stooges on too much caffeine and other stimulants. The crisp rhythm section creates a solid backbone for guitarist-vocalist Matthew Melton's licks and machine-gun solos, as well as his earnest respect for melody." --Bay Guardian

The Howls - (Set time: 9:00 PM)

San Diego's The Howls have only been around for a few years, but their reputation already precedes them. It only takes one listen to the band's music to see why: The Howls' sound is reminiscent of those timeless early Wilco and Ryan Adams albums, with some boozy old-school Stones thrown in for good measure. It's alt-country bliss. Over the last few months The Howls have shared the stage with bands such as Telekinesis, Portugal. The Man, Union Line, Fitz and the Tantrums, Love Language and many others.
